General Examination Regulations and Procedures

Due to social distancing measures implemented by the Government of the Republic of Namibia to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) has transitioned from the traditional paper-based, in-person Estate Agents examination at various testing centers to an online format. The examination is now held at the UNAM campuses in Windhoek, Ongwediva, and Henties Bay. Candidates are required to bring their own computers to these venues, where Wi-Fi will be provided for them to complete the examination.

The NEAB Online Estate Agents examination will be hosted online 3 times a year on the ThinkExam platform and will be 3-hour examination.

Take note of the following:
  1. The Online Examination will be written on the ThinkExam Platform (https://neab.thinkexam.com/candidate/login).

  2. Candidates will be provided with a Username and Password by the NEAB Office upon registration.

  3. Candidates will be given time to take Mock / Dummy examinations on the platform before the main examination.

  4. Candidates must obtain a pass mark of 50% during the examinations.

  5. Enlisting the help of a third party to complete examinations on your behalf is considered contract cheating.

  6. Some of the consequences of contract cheating include receiving zero for an exam.

NB! Infringement of these rules and/or disregard of instructions and/or orders given by the invigilators or personnel of the Namibia Estate Agents Board present and or irregular or unsatisfactory behaviour by a candidate may lead to his/her disqualification and render him/her subject to disciplinary measures in terms of the rules of the Namibia Estate Agents Board and Examination Committee.
